The Moot Hall | Maldon
360° Virtual Tours for Museums and Heritage sites
ambientLight was invited to create a 360° Virtual Tour of The Moot Hall in Maldon to showcase the building and facilities for hire.
The Moot Hall is thought to been built around 1420 and stands now as a unique Grade 1 listed building. It was part of the family home of Sir Robert D’arcy (1391 – 1448). The tower is the only remaining section and was once used as a prison before turning to more civic duties during recent times. The hall can be booked as a unique wedding venue and is available for viewing and hire.
Our enhanced virtual tour uses an onscreen menu to show the multiple levels of the building in normal and wedding setups and includes some hotspot icons on the ground floor to call out additional details and points of interest.
The museum is manned by volunteers and opens every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from March to October for guided visits in normal circumstances. Find out more on the website at The Moot Hall – Maldon.
